Primary type information: Primary type material: 10 syntype workers, 4 syntype males. Primary type locality: Indonesia: Irian Jaya (“Dutch New Guinea”), Maffin Bay, 16.vi.1944, and 20.vi.1944 (E.S. Ross). Primary type depositories: BMNH, CASC.
