Secondary type specimen: CASENT0101768. Type notes: 1) This taxon is based on 7 workers of Probolomyrmex filiformis Mayr, 1901b, sensu Santschi, 1914d: 312, misidentification. 2) Taylor, 1965d retrieved the 3 specimens described by Santschi; it is assumed the missing 4 are in Silvestri’s collection in DEUN.
