Primary type locality: lectotype Madagascar: S. de la Baie d’Antongil (J. de Gaulle). Primary type depository: NHMB. Primary type specimen: CASENT0101179 (lectotype). Type notes: Original description cites 5 syntype queens, but the “queen” symbol is apparently a misprint.
