Primary type information: Primary type material: syntype workers (number not stated). Primary type locality: Myanmar (“Burma”): Tenasserim, Mt Mooleyit, 1000-1900 m., iv.1887 (L. Fea). Primary type depositories: MCZC, MHNG, MSNG. Type notes: Both Shattuck, 1994: 51, and Dill, 2002: 42, cite 2 worker syntypes (1 MCZC, 1 MHNG), but in total there are at least 3.
