Type notes: 1) Wilson, 2003a: 661, refers to a holotype major worker, but 2 major worker syntypes were cited by Emery, 1894d in the original description. 2) Minor workers (dubiously associated with the majors) Bolivia: Cantons of Coroico & Chilumani-Yungas, 1600 m. (L. Balzan); not included as syntypes.
