Primary type information: Type-material: lectotype worker (by designation of Johnson, 2015: 111). Type-locality: lectotype Venezuela: Anzoátegui, llanos ca 15 km. N Soledad, across from Ciudad Bolívar, 27.i.1935, colony no. V9b (N.A. Weber). Type-depository: MCZC. Secondary type information: Paratype-material: 3 paralectotype workers. Paratype-locality: same as for lectotype. Paratype-depository: MCZC.
