Primary type information: Primary type material: neotype worker (by designation of Booher et al., 2019: 345). Primary type locality: Cuba: Holguín, 2 km. N La Melba, 20°28’N, 74°49’W, 400 m., 22.viii.2001, #14424-5, sifted litter (leaf mold, rotten wood), rainforest (P.S. Ward). Primary type depository: MCZC. Type notes: Original type-material was holotype worker, Cuba: Province de Pinar del Rio, Sierra del Rosario, 17.xi.1931 (A. Bierig); deposited NHMB but specimen lost, missing from mount, vii.1996.
