Type notes: 1) Specimen(s) possibly in MNHN as Reich is attributed to the Natural History Society of Paris. 2) G.C. Reich is not mentioned in Horn & Kahle, 1935, Horn & Kahle, 1937. 3) Emery, 1892c: 163, Emery, 1893m: 203 (footnote), and Emery, 1911e: 71, suggest possible synonymy with Neoponera commutata Roger, 1860.
