Primary type material: holotype (?) worker. Primary type locality: unknown: “On the road across the Pamir, from Sarikol to Panja, also at Yárkand, iv. and v.” (F. Stoliczka) Primary type depository: unknown (no material known to exist).
Type notes:
1) No indication of number of specimens is given. 2) Locality perhaps China: Xinjiang Prov., Yarkant County, as the taxon was found during the “Second Yarkand Mission”.
