Primary type information: Primary type material: neotype worker (by designation of Galkowski et al., 2019: 421). Primary type locality: neotype France: Brive, 45.169°N, 1.500°E, 210 m., 2.vii.2008, forest edge (C. Galkowski, C. Aubert & R. Blatrix). Primary type depository: MNHN (neotype). Type notes: 1) Original type-data: syntype workers, queens, males (numbers not stated), France: Brive (P.A. Latreille); type-material lost, not in MNHN (Galkowski et al., 2019: 421). 2) Galkowski et al., 2019: 421, also designate 9 ‘paraneotypes’ (MNHN), a category not recognised by ICZN, and say that 10 workers from the neotype nest are also in SMNG. 3) Zięcina et al., 2024: 256, cite a topotype in MNHW.
