Primary type information: Primary type material: lectotype minor worker (by designation of Laciny et al., 2018: 24). Primary type locality: lectotype Singapore: (no further data), “Sing. 6” (A.R. Wallace). Primary type depository: OXUM. Primary type specimen: CASENT0901897 (lectotype). Secondary type information: Secondary type material: 2 paralectotype minor workers. Secondary type locality: Malaysia: Sarawak, “Sar. 32” (A.R. Wallace). Secondary type depository: OXUM. Type notes: 1) Smith, 1858a: 22, implies that all material is in “Coll. W.W. Saunders, Esq.” (= OXUM). 2) Donisthorpe, 1932c: 443, cites only 1 worker, certainly in error as Smith, 1857a gave two localities. 3) 3 minor worker syntypes present in OXUM (Bolton unpublished notes 1978).
