Primary type information: Primary type material: holotype queen. Primary type locality: Germany: vic. Aachen (A. Foerster). Primary type depository: unknown (no material known to exist). Type notes: 1) According to Horn & Kahle, 1935: 78, Foerster’s formicid types are in MNHU. 2) Wilson, 1955a: 185, says there is no type material in MNHU or NHMW. 3) Seifert & Schultz, 2009b: 271, state that “According to our own search in German collections type material of Förster is completely destroyed”.
