Primary type information: Primary type material: neotype male (by designation of Trager, 1984b: 84). Primary type locality: neotype U.S.A.: Texas, Real County, 12 mi. NE Leakey, 19.iii.1970, no. 3725 (O. Francke, et al.). Primary type depository: LACM. Type notes: 1) Trager, 1984b: 84, also nominates a “alloneotype” worker in LACM, a category not recognised by ICZN. 2) Other specimens from the same series as the neotype are in MCZC. 3) Kallal & LaPolla, 2012: 33, incorrectly cite the neotype as a worker. 4) Original type data: syntype workers (number not stated), U.S.A.: Texas, Austin (S.B. Buckley), type depository: unknown (no material known to exist).
